A New Era Of Aggie LAX

A new coaching staff means a new environment for UC Davis women's lacrosse. Interviews with Meghan Jordan, Morgan Sissler and Anna Geissbuhler.

CAREER MILESTONES: Ranks 8th in school history with 50 career assists, one behind Molly Lapolla and 12 behind Hall of Famer Allison Stonebarger... Enters senior year with .531 shooting percentage (69-for-130), on pace to rank 3rd in school history behind Danner Doud-Martin (.618) and current teammate Hannah Mirza (.535)... Needs 22 points to enter school's career top 10, assuming Mirza also cracks the list... Sits 28 goals shy of moving into Aggies' all-time leaderboard.

2012: Started all 16 games... Ranked 3rd on team, 6th in MPSF in assists (24)... Shot 24-for-48 (.500) with 26 ground balls, 31 draw controls and 4 caused turnovers... Shared MPSF Player of the Week honors (with Cal's Megan Takacs) for 3/12, thanks to 5-4-9 offense and 3 DCs against Long Island (3/11)... Shot 4-for-4 in previous game vs. Virginia Tech (3/3) and followed LIU game with season-high 5 GBs vs. Central Connecticut (3/19)... Scored season's third hat trick vs. Stanford, shooting 3-for-3 with 5 DCs.

2011: Started 14 games... Shot 27-for-47 for a team-high .574 shooting percentage, 3rd in school history... Also recorded 12 assists, 17 ground balls, 18 draw controls and 6 caused turnovers... Performed five hat tricks, including season-high 5 goals vs. Fresno State (2/19)... Notched 3 goals with 3 assists for season-best 6 points at Long Island (3/27)... Posted 3-0-3 on offense plus 3 GBs and 2 steals at Detroit (3/6)... Collected 4 DCs vs. Bryant (3/11).

2010: Played in all 17 games, starting 13... Shot 18-for-35 (.514) with 14 assists... Added 16 ground balls, 22 draw controls and 4 caused turnovers... First collegiate goal was team's go-ahead in opener vs. Cal (2/20)... Posted three straight hat tricks: 3 goals at Manhattan (3/8), 3 vs. Detroit (3/13), then 4 goals with 2 assists at Saint Francis (3/25)... Posted season-high 4 draw controls at Villanova (3/4).

WORTHINGTON HS '09: Captured All-America honorable mention as a senior... Earned All-Ohio Capital Conference, all-district and all-state first-team distinction that year... Team went combined 50-5-5 in her three varsity seasons... Set school records in assists (101) and total points (326), while finishing 2nd all-time in goals (225)... Key stats: scored 73 goals with 28 assists in 2009, 71 goals with 30 assists in 2008, 65 goals with 38 assists in 2007... Also a field hockey standing garnering All-OCC status for three straight seasons... Helped lead team to state title in 2007... Voted Player of the Year by Suburban News Publications... Four-year Academic All-Ohio honoree in both sports... Selected as school's Athlete of the Year for 2008-09... Added NFHCA National Academic Squad nod as a senior... Played club lacrosse for Midwestern Force, helping team to Empire Division title at 2008 Champions Cup... Also named all-tournament at 2008 Vail Shootout.
