Conference LAX race heats up with two key games

Aggies face California (Friday) and Oregon (Sunday)

2005: Started all 19 games... Compiled 19 ground balls with 9 draw controls and 8 caused turnovers... Also scored a goal and had 2 assists... Had best overall game vs. Marist: 2 GBs, 3 CTs and an assist (to Katie McMahon).

2004: Appeared in all 17 games, including 8 as a starter... Voted Most Improved Player by teammates... Key stats: 19 ground balls, 6 draw controls, 9 caused turnovers... Won a draw and posted three CTs in win at Marist... Won two draws against Regis.

2003: Played in 8 games as a reserve... Scored first collegiate goal on a free-position shot vs. Saint Mary's.

LA COSTA CANYON HS '02: Named CIF All-Star as a senior... Twice selected as MVP in lacrosse... Helped lead team to 56-12 record in three years... Mavericks captured state title in 2001 and were San Diego Section runner-ups in 2002... Led JV field hockey and lacrosse teams in scoring... Made California Select team that competed at nationals.

PERSONAL: Born in La Jolla, Calif.... Majoring in psychology... Parents are Jeff & LeeAnn Frantz... Jeff, whom Nicole lists as her non-sports hero, ran track at Cincinnati... Older sister, Jessica, graduated from Cal Poly... Nicknamed "Niki".
