Women's tennis wins in both Group and Individual/Duo categories

2011: Saw action in 9 games, making one start (at California, 2/13)... Posted 3 ground balls with a caused turnover... Earned MPSF All-Academic honors.

2010: Played in 16 games, starting against St. Francis (3/25) and Denver (4/30)... Tallied 18 ground balls, 5 draw controls and 5 caused turnovers... Had one assist, setting up Elizabeth Datino for team's first goal at St. Francis... Also had 6 ground balls in that game, two days after posting 5 GBs and 3 CTs at Lehigh (3/23)... Named to MPSF All-Academic squad.

2009: Appeared in 16 games as a reserve... Shot 3-for-5 offensively, with 4 draw controls and 2 caused turnovers in the field... All three goals were at Howard for first collegiate hat trick (4/6)... Won two draws with a CT (stick check) in season finale vs. Louisville (5/1).

PETERS TOWNSHIP HS '08: Twice captured Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League All-Star honors as a midfielder... Led team to combined 39-5 record and two WPIAL titles in each of her last two years... Selected to Mid-Atlantic team at US Lacrosse nationals... National Honor Society member... Played club lacrosse for Intrepid (Pittsburgh, Pa.)... Also lettered in ice hockey as a defender.

PERSONAL: Born in Pittsburgh, Pa.... Majoring in international relations... Parents are Gary & Jill Sunday... One of four siblings: Matt, Andrew and Rachel... Rachel plays lacrosse at SMC... Hopes for career as an international journalist or a politician... Serves as an officer for UC Davis Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
