overtime period to lift UC Davis to a 13-12 win over Longwood University
in a collegiate women's lacrosse matchup at Lancer Field Thursday.
The Aggies, ranked No. 2 in the Warrior/Inside Lacrosse Power Poll and
No. 3 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll,
improve to 6-3 on the season. UC Davis also jumps to 3-0 against members
of the Division II South Region. The Lancers, which entered the game atop
both sets of rankings, drop to 5-1 overall.
Senior attack wing Jaime Fitzpatrick scored four goals to lead the Aggies
while Leslie Kado added three goals and a team-best two assists. Stacy Sugarman
scored twice and Tiffany Lee, Naomi Coffman and Jessie Donohoue also had

in regulation to force the overtime.
For Longwood, Marisa Cohen and Emily Bikowski each recorded four goals.
The Aggies face another ranked South Region team on Saturday, when they
take on No. 5 Limestone.
