BERKELEY, Calif. --- Sophomore Molly Brady scored four goals -- the first three of which highlighted a string of nine unanswered goals -- as UC Berkeley beat UC Davis, 13-4, in a women's Mountain Pacific Lacrosse League game at Memorial Stadium Saturday.

The Aggies, ranked third in NCAA Division II by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association, drops to 9-5 on the season and 1-3 in conference. Cal improves to 10-4 overall and remains unbeaten in the MPLL with a 3-0 ledger.

Aggie attack wing Jamie Fitzpatrick was the first to score, dropping in the first of her two goals at the 11:51 mark. But Julianne Wu fired in a goal for the Golden Bears at 15:34, sparking a string of seven straight goals to give her team a 7-1 lead at the halftime break.

Cal added two more early in the second period as Wu and Emily Edwards hit the Aggie net. UC Davis' Leslie Kado ended the Golden Bear run with a goal from Kate Hanson at 34:18. She and Fitzpatrick each finished with two goals each.

Kristen Braasch collected 11 saves in net for UC Davis.

The Aggies return home on April 26 for a game against Saint Mary's.
