Three Aggies Earn MPSF All-Academic

DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis seniors Elizabeth Datino and Anna Geissbuhler and sophomore Elizabeth Landry each earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic honors for women's lacrosse, it was announced by the league office on Thursday.

To be eligible for Academic All-MPSF honors, a student-athlete must have a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA, be a sophomore, junior or senior academically; have completed one full academic year at the member institution prior to the year in which the award is given, and have competed in 50 percent or more of the team's competitions.

Datino will graduate in organizational studies, Geissbuhler finishes up in clinical nutrution while Landry wraps up her second year in international relations. This award continued a string of honors for Datino, who garnered All-MPSF first-team accolades and All-West/Midwest Region second-team distinction earlier in May.

Denver and Stanford had the largest representation on the All-Academic rolls with 11 scholar-athletes each. Oregon goalkeeper Caroline Federighi held the highest GPA, posting a 4.08.
