WOODLAND, Calif. - Senior goalkeeper Kristen Braasch and sophomores Megan O'Connor and Jen Sanderson each were named to the second-annual 2005 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation academic all-conference teams for women's lacrosse, it was announced Wednesday.

To earn this award, student-athletes were required to meet three criteria: a 3.0 or better cumulative grade-point average, at least one full academic year at the member institution, and participation in at least 50 percent of the team's competition for the year.

This is second such nod for Oakland, Calif. native Braasch, who is a psychology and communication double major. Braasch finished as the program's all-time leader for saves in a game, season and career.

Sanderson, a history major from Poway, Calif., was selected to the All-MPSF team earlier in the month. She led the team in caused turnovers (23) and was second in draw controls (22), mostly at defensive wing.

O'Connor, also from Poway, Calif., led the Aggies with 48 ground balls and 44 draw controls, and ranked among team leaders in goals (17) and caused turnovers (20).

UC Davis finished 10-9 with a fourth-place showing in the MPSF in 2004.
