The UC Davis women's rowing team will return to action for the first time since Mar. 8 when the Aggies host San Diego State in a dual regatta at the Port of Sacramento on Sunday morning beginning at 8:30.

The Aggies and Aztecs are meeting on UC Davis' home course for the fourth consecutive season. Last year, the Aggies won four of five races including the varsity, second varsity eight and novice eight matchups.

Races on Sunday are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. with the novice eight and be followed by the varsity eight (8:45), second novice eight (9:00), varsity four (9:15) and second varsity eight (9:30) races. Wind may slightly alter the race schedule.

UC Davis has not competed since opening the spring portion of it season in early March with the Davis Invitational Rowing Tournament. The Aggies swept five races, including the varsity eight.

UC Davis will continue its season next weekend at the San Diego Crew Classic.
