WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The UC Davis women's team, coming off races with rival Sacramento State last weekend, will return to action on Saturday when the Aggies host the NorCal/SoCal Challenge at the Port of Sacramento.
Racing begins at 8:45 a.m. and will continue with matchups every 15 minutes until 9:45, and then resume with nearly two hours of races beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday's competition starts at 8 a.m. and will run until the final dual at 9:45 a.m.
UC Davis will be joined by San Diego State, LMU and Saint Mary's. The Aggies' varsity eight, which won a thrilling race against Sacramento State to claim the Jean Runyon Cup last Saturday, will be in action at 9:15 a.m.
Aggie crews will also race at 9:45 (novice eight), 3 p.m. (varsity four), 3:30 p.m. (second varsity eight) and 4:15 p.m. (varsity eight).
On Sunday morning, UC Davis will go head-to-head with San Diego State in varsity four (8:00), second varsity eight (8:30), varsity eight (9:00) and novice eight (9:30) races. The Aggies will also face LMU in a novice four matchup at 9:45 a.m.
