DAVIS, Calif. - Angeliki Bundros earned recognition as a National Scholar-Athlete from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) for the second consecutive year while Brittani De Riemer received honors for the first time, as the outstanding UC Davis rowers were named to the academic squad this week.

Honored student-athletes had cumulative GPA's of at least 3.50 and need to be at least a sophomore athletically.

Bundros is a junior from Gilroy double-majoring in psychology, and neurobiology, physiology and behavior. She was a coxswain for the Aggies this season. De Riemer, a sophomore from La Mesa, is majoring in exercise biology. De Riemer was a member of the varsity eight in 2009, rowing from the stroke seat.

UC Davis completed its spring season at the Pac-10 Championships on May 17 after earning a third-place team finish as the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships earlier in the month.
