BISHOP O'DOWD HS '16: Two-year soccer letterwinner... Earned first team All-West Alameda County Conference and MVP honors as a senior... Bishop O' Dowd won a league title and finished second in the North Coast Section playoffs that same year... During her last two years on campus, her teams posted a combined 31-9-5 record... As a junior, she led her soccer team to the first of two straight league titles... Also competed for her school's track & field team... Earned First Honors each term, all four years, for holding a 3.5 GPA or above... Named a Presidential Scholar as a senior... The CIF bestowed scholar-athlete distinction to Walker all four years.
PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, California... Oldest of Lisa and Darryl Walker's three children... Darryl, Jr., and Djahi are her younger siblings... Her father played rugby at Cal... Her uncle, Andrew Walker, also attended Cal and played football... Most people do not know that she was a gymnast as a kid and can still do a front handspring... Mallory Pugh is the best athlete she has competed against... Would choose track or basketball if she could choose another sport at UC Davis... Her father is her sports hero... Her grandmother is her non-sports hero for always being there with love and support... Plans to become a doctor and work outside the United States for a couple of years... Dancing and reading are her favorite hobbies, outside of playing soccer... Chose UC Davis because she felt that this program would help take her game to the next level.
