Seniors shine in final home match; Ags win 4-0

Haley Hughes scores 18 seconds into the match to set a new D-I program record

2008: Appeared in all 17 games with 14 starts...Finished the year with 2 goals and 27 shots...Enters her senior season with 38 starts in 52 career games played...Scored first goal of season at the 22-minute mark in win over Fresno State (8/24) on an assist by Gabina Bohlman...Second goal also helped lead to win when she connected in the 68th minute at Idaho State (9/19) on an assist by Lauren Huntley to tie the game at 1-1...Had three shots in five separate games with two shots in four more.

2007: Started all 18 games...One of just five Aggies to start every game and joins Rochelle VanBuskirk and Samantha Faber as the only returning players with that distinction...Posted assist in Aggies lone goal against Nevada (9/28), a first half score by Rochelle VanBuskirk which tied the game at 1-1...Fired a season-high 3 shots against San Jose State (10/17)...Had at least one shot in all but four games....Tied with Marisa Boge with most games played over past two years (35) among returning Aggies.

2006: Appeared in 17 games, starting 6... Scored 3 goals with an assist for 7 total points, 2nd on team... Team went 6-0 in her six starts... Posted 19 shots with 10 on frame... Had five of her season's seven points in first half of 8-0 win at Alabama State (9/22)... First collegiate goal was assisted by Lacey Cobb just 22 seconds in, then added a second score in 13th minute vs. Hornets... Added an assist to Annie McAllister in 25th minute to extend lead to 4-0... Fired season-high 4 shots in ASU game... Scored final goal of season in 50th minute vs. Long Beach State, converting assist from Dayna Dumont and helping lift UC Davis to overtime victory.

TEMPLE CITY HS '06: Selected to All-Rio Hondo League first team three times, second team once.... Voted Offensive Player of the Year in 2003 and 2005... Also named Rookie of the Year as a freshman... Competed in track & field, earning team's Sprinter of the Year award in 2002... Played club ball for Santa Anita.
