TURLOCK, Calif. - Senior Cynthia Rail had the tying goal in the 34th minute and that would be the last scoring over final 76 minutes as No.11 UC Davis saw it's five-game winning streak come to an end with a 1-1, double-overtime tie against Cal State Stanislaus in a California Collegiate Athletic Association women's soccer game Friday afternoon at Warrior Field.

With the tie, UC Davis moves to 5-0-1 on the season, 3-0-1 in conference play while Cal State Stanislaus goes to 5-2-1, 2-1-1 in CCAA action.

After a 30-minute delay to start the game due to the referees showing up late for the 12:30 p.m. contest, the Warriors got on the board first in the 12th minute as Mosey Murgia finished off a free kick from Jamie Humrichouse form the early lead.

UC Davis would respond in the 34th minute as Rail scored her sixth goal of the season after collecting the rebound off Lindsey Raymond's initial shot. Raymond's shot had been blocked by Warrior keeper Breanna Vaughan, but the ball got away from Vaughan and went to Rail who deposited it in the back of the net.

That would be all the scoring although the Aggies did have their chances. In the first half Rail had a breakaway heading to the Warrior goal but was brought down by Kellie Horner from Behind. Horner was given a yellow card for the foul. Horner was given another yellow card for a similar offense on Rail on the second overtime, but the Aggies could not capitalize.

For the game UC Davis outshot Stanislaus, 16-5, while Aggie goalkeeper Christine Ogden made two saves on the day.

UC Davis' next action is a road match at Cal State Bakersfield on Sunday, September 22.
