SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - UC Davis defender Carly Broaddus' goal in the 88th minute of play evened the score at 2-2 and it would remain deadlocked through two overtime periods as UC Davis and Cal State, San Bernardino battled to a 2-2 draw in a California collegiate Athletic Association women's soccer game Friday afternoon at Coyote Field.

With the tie, the Aggies move to 7-2-2 on the season, 5-1-2 in CCAA play while the Coyotes go to 4-7-2, 3-5-2 in conference action.

San Bernardino got on the board first midway through the first half when Natasha Araujo took a pass from Amber Cappello and beat Aggie goalkeeper Christine Ogden for the 1-0 lead. Before the half ended, the Coyotes would make it 2-0 when Stephanie Sheldrick would convert a pass from Michelle Lopez for San Bernardino's final goal of the game.

The first 28 minutes of the second half were scoreless until UC Davis broke through with a goal in the 73rd minute. Junior midfielder Jennifer Martelle blasted a shot past Coyote keeper Amanda Hernandez, cutting the lead it half. It marked Martelle's first goal of the season.

With less than three minutes to go, Broaddus sent a long ball towards the goal from about 40 yards out. The ball found it way under the crossbar and just out of the reach of Hernandez, equaling the score.

Neither team would score in the two overtime periods, leaving the game in a draw.

UC Davis will next be in action on Sunday when it visits Cal Poly Pomona in another CCAA contest.
