CARSON, Calif. - Toro forward Sanoe Samatua squeezed a shot past UC Davis goalkeeper Krystyn Lizak from six yards away just one minute into overtime to give Cal State Dominguez Hills a 3-2 victory over UC Davis in a California Collegiate Athletic Association women's soccer game Sunday afternoon at Toro Field.

With the loss the Aggies fall to 6-7-1 on the season, 6-5 in the CCAA while the Toros improve to 12-3-1 overall, 9-1-1 in conference play.

Dominguez Hills got on the board first in the opening nine minutes when Erin Fiegler headed a corner kick off the foot of Lisa Marino into the Aggie net for the 1-0 lead. the score remained 1-0 through halftime.

In the second half Aggie junior forward Arlene Tuttle recorded the equalizer when Kristin Patterson crossed a pass from the right flank to Tuttle, who headed her shot to the near post. the Toros took the lead again with just under six minutes left when Tayna Wilson scored her eighth goal of the season on assists from Elizabeth Arreola and Laci Gruner.

With 15 seconds left in regulation, Aggie freshman Melissa Albrecht took a deflection off a Toro defender and blasted her shot to the upper far netting from 25 yards out to send the game into overtime. Just 1:38 into the extra period, Samatua put across the game-winner, her first goal of the season.

Lizak made three saves in net for the Aggies while her counterpart, Alba Garcia, registered six saves.

UC Davis will next be in action on Saturday when it faces Sonoma State in Rohnert Park. Gametime is set for 12:30 p.m.
