STOCKTON, Calif. - Tristan Ngoon scored in the 21st minute against Pacific on Sunday afternoon, scoring the game's only goal, as UC Davis upended the host Tigers 1-0 in a nonconference women's soccer contest.

UC Davis improved to 7-9-1 on the season while the Tigers fell to 7-6-6.

Pacific outshot UC Davis 18-15 on the afternoon but it was Ngoon who put the only ball threw, accounting for the lone score. She scored her goal off a cross by Katie Snyder. Goalie Krystyn Lizak made it stand up, posting seven saves. Pacific goalie Laura Guerin had six saves.

Ngoon's goal was her first of the year.

UC Davis, which has won two consecutive games, closes its season on Nov. 5 when it hosts North Dakota State.
