FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton broke a scoreless tie with nine seconds left in regulation to defeat visiting UC Davis, 1-0, Friday night at Titan Stadium. Stacey Fox scored the game-winner on a corner kick as the Titans improved to 5-8-5 overall and 3-3-1 in the Big West. UC Davis dropped to 6-9-1 and 1-6-0, respectively.

Cal State Fullerton took seven of the game's 10 shots in the first half, but neither team was able to capitalize through the first 45 minutes. It was much of the same in the second half as the Titans were outshooting the Aggies 11-10 prior to the decisive corner kick in the final seconds.

Lisa Kemp and Rachel Kahn each led UC Davis with three shots apiece. Katie Webb finished with two while Rochelle VanBuskirk and Aisha Lott each had one. Sarah Peters finished the night with six saves. The Aggies also had a team save.

Cal State Fullerton ended up with a 12-10 advantage in shots. UC Davis held a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.

UC Davis concludes its regular season Sunday when it plays at UC Riverside at 1 p.m.
