DAVIS, Calif. - Six home games, tournament competition in San Francisco and Albuquerque, action against four NCAA Tournament and three Pac-12 teams highlight UC Davis women's soccer 2013 schedule.

Released by head coach Maryclaire Robinson on Tuesday, her team will waste no time in competing against top-caliber competition when Oregon visits Davis on Aug. 17 for the Aggies' lone exhibition matchup.

UC Davis will also face Pac-12 opposition in back-to-back games on Sept. 8, versus Cal, in the final game of the University of San Francisco Tournament, and at Utah on Sept. 13.

The regular season will start on Aug. 23, at Aggie Soccer Stadium, when UC Davis hosts cross-Causeway rival Sacramento State in its annual rivalry game. An affair the Aggies have dominated in recent years, UC Davis has not dropped its game against the Hornets since the 2006 season, that contest is the first of six home matchups scattered throughout the season.

UC Davis' last non-conference home game will take place on Sept. 1, against Drake. That meeting precedes a nine-game road swing that includes competition at two tournaments - the University of San Francisco Tournament (Sept. 6-8) and the Jack in the Box Classic in Albuquerque, N.M. (Sept. 20-22) - road games at Utah and Utah Valley (Sept. 15), and a visit to former Big West counterpart Pacific.

In addition to facing Cal, UC Davis will also square-off against tournament host San Francisco in that event. Two weeks later when the Aggies travel to Albuquerque, the team will battle Texas Tech and Jack in the Box Classic host New Mexico.

UC Davis will begin conference competition at Long Beach State, one of four teams that participated in last year's NCAA Tournament, on Oct. 10, before ending its nine-match trip at UC Irvine on Oct. 13.

The Aggies' other league road contests will take place on Oct. 24, at UC Riverside, and Oct. 27, at Cal State Fullerton, the 2012 regular season champion.

In addition to non-conference opponents in Cal and Texas Tech, Long Beach State and Cal State Northridge comprise the list of 2012 NCAA postseason participants the Aggies will face throughout the year.

Hawai'i will serve as the opponent for the Aggies' Big West home opener on Oct. 17, a match that will take place prior to an Oct. 20 showdown against Cal State Northridge - the winner of the 2012 Big West Conference Tournament.

UC Davis will end its regular season with a pair of home games against Cal Poly (Oct. 31) and UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 3), the final matches before the start of the 2013 Big West Women's Soccer Tournament.

Taking place at Titan Stadium on the campus of Cal State Fullerton, quarterfinal matches are scheduled for Nov. 7. The winner of those meetings will compete for the Big West championship on Nov. 10.

Including All-Big West Conference second team and All-Freshman honoree Sienna Drizin, 10 starters, an additional 17 letterwinners and nine newcomers will comprise this year's roster.

With 195 wins earned throughout her 21 years at the helm of UC Davis women's soccer, the 2013 campaign is Robinson's first opportunity to earn her 200th career victory. Of the 323 Division I women's soccer head coaches, Robinson is on the cusp of joining an elite list comprised of 45 active colleagues (entering the 2013 season) who reached this historic accomplishment at a four-year institution.
