2017: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Set new Division I-era career records for games played and started (209), hits (211), at bats (668), RBI (72), and total bases (253)... Also set a single-season record with 184 at bats... Twelfth-toughest batter to strikeout in the country, fanning once every 37.6 at bats...Named the starting shortstop in all 54 games of the season and led the team with 17 multi-hit games ... Led the team in advancing runners (30) without recording an out... Her three triples also leads all Aggies for the season and is tied for fourth in the Big West... Her first triple came against Cal State Fullerton on April 14 before hitting triples in back-to-back games of a double header against UC Riverside on April 22... Amongst the team, she also came in first in sacrifice bunts (7), second in hits (52), and second in doubles (8)... Compared to the rest of the conference, she also ranked fifth for hits (59), fourth in at-bats (184), and tied for fifth in total plate appearances (204)... Her .321 batting average is ranked third on the team and is fourth in both slugging percentage (.397) and on base percentage (.365)... Hit .322 against right-handed pitchers, .379 with the bases empty, .400 as the leadoff, .600 with a runner on third and less than two outs, and .520 when successfully advancing runners... Recorded a game high two RBI against UC Riverside on April 22.

2015: NFCA ALL-AMERICA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Struckout once every 31.2 at-bats, the eighth-lowest ratio in the nation... This marked the third time in as many seasons that Castello received a NCAA ranking in this category, and the second straight occasion that she posted a top 30 figure... Led all Aggies in batting avg. (.316), runs (26), hits (49), hit-by-pitches (6) and triples (2)... Ranked No. 2 in total bases (55) and No. 3 in on base pct. (.384)... No Aggie recorded more multiple hit games than Castello (16)... Posted four multiple RBI games, including the only five-RBI performance of the season... Started all 49 games played at shortstop... Hit .318 against left-handed pitchers and .316 against right-handers... Batted .439 as a leadoff batter... Drove in a runner, with two outs in the inning, on 10 of 13 opportunities (.769) - a team-high average... One of two players who recorded a season-high six at-bats when UC Davis faced UC Riverside (4/25)... Scored twice in five games... Recorded two hits in all 15 of her multiple-hit games... Smacked a double vs. Pacific (2/10) and at Saint Mary's (3/22)...Also hit two triples: vs. Sacramento State (3/10) and at Hawai'i (5/9).

2014: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Fanned once every 22.9 at-bats, the No. 27 toughest player to strikeout in the nation... Also ranked No. 44 in the nation in triples (4) and No. 88 in triples per game (0.07)... Tied for No. 4 in the league with four triples, No. 5 with nine hit-by-pitches and No. 8 with 58 hits... Her .317 batting avg., .365 on base pct., 58 hits, four triples, and nine hit-by-pitches were all team-high figures... Finished second on the team with 21 runs and 74 total bases... Her eight doubles and 21 RBI were the third-highest totals... Hit .405 as a leadoff batter and a team-high .417 with runners in scoring position... Also hit .302 with two outs... A team-high 14 of her 21 RBI were recorded with two outs... Recorded the most multiple-hit games; she earned two hits in 18 games and three hits in another two... Hit safely in 11 straight games, the longest streak posted by any softball student-athlete...Reached base in 11 straight games, the second-longest streak among all Aggies... One of four position players named to the starting lineup in all 54 games played... Started and played every game at shortstop... Hit .314 in league games... Belted a team-high two doubles at UNLV (2/7)... Recorded a season-high three hits vs. Seattle U. (3/2) and North Dakota (3/15)... Drove in a season-high three RBI vs. Western Kentucky (2/15) and UC Santa Barbara (4/18, Gm. 1).

2013: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... The No. 105-toughest batter to strikeout in the country (one strikeout per 14.6 at-bats)... Named the team's starting shortstop in all 52 games... Finished No. 6 in the Big West with 15 stolen bases... Led all Aggies with her .308 batting average, 15 runs, 15 stolen bases, 45 hits and 51 total bases... Of her 15 RBI, nine were earned with two outs... Also hit .377 (23-for-61) with runners on base... Her .372 average with runners in scoring position was a team-high mark... Finished second on the team with a .349 slugging percentage, .353 on-base percentage and 15 RBI... Dropped six sacrifice bunts, the third-highest total on the team... Recorded five extra-base hits on four doubles and a triple... Posted three three-hit games... Tied Jasmine Lee for the longest hitting streak of the season at eight games... Finished with a season-high three hits in three games: vs. New Mexico State (3/8), at UC Riverside (4/20, Gm. 2) and against Cal State Fullerton (4/28)... Hit her first triple as an Aggie at the Diamond Devil Invitational against New Mexico State... Scored a season-high three runs vs. Santa Clara (2/17) at the Stanford Invitational.

CARONDELET HS '12: Two-time team MVP and first-team All-East Bay Athletic League honoree... Added All-Area distinction each year: third team in 2011, second team in 2012... Batted .330, .457 and .525 from sophomore through senior years... Helped Cougars reach North Coast Section title game as a junior... Won numerous service honors, including Bronze Jefferson Award, Congressional Award and Presidential Award... Served as team captain for Sorcerer Softball, helping team finish 14th at ASA Nationals (Premier Division).
