LEIGH HS '13: Earned three varsity letters as a member of Leigh High School's volleyball team as an outside hitter and middle blocker, three as a center for women's basketball and another four letters as a softball catcher... Named all-league softball MVP as a freshman.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Denise and Ryan Saunders... Has one younger sibling, Shane... Enjoys music, dancing, snap chatting, working out and sleeping... Capturing all-league MVP honors as a freshman is her most memorable athletics highlight... Not many people know she can recite all the words to the movie "Pitch Perfect" ... Lauren Chamberlain is her sports hero... Selected UC Davis because she feels that "this is a great academic school and a gateway to a better life" ... Possesses aspirations to become a crime scene investigator... Would love to visit Germany due to her ethnic background... Firmly believes that, "hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard."
