Softball's season starts Saturday at Santa Clara

Aggies have won 10 of 12 head-to-head games as a Division I program

2017: Named a starter in three of eleven games played as the designated hitter... The freshman picked up her first career hit against Bryant on March 16 at the Aggie Invitational II coming after coming in to play second base... Her second hit came the next day versus North Dakota as a pinch hitter for the second baseman... Her three starts came against Kentucky (2/17), Saint Mary's (3/18), and Princeton (3/18)... Hit .667 as the leadoff, .324 with runners in scoring position and .417 with a runner on third and less than two outs.

MARTIN LUTHER KING HS '16: Four-year letterwinner... Led her team to three consecutive Big 8 league championships... MLKHS competed in the CIF playoffs all four years; deepest run took place during the 2013-14 season when the team advanced to the championship game... Earned scholar-athlete distinction all four years for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher... 

PERSONAL: The middle of Monica and Guilherme's five children... Older siblings Sophia and Ale attend Georgetown University and are members of the school's softball team... Bella and Bianca are her younger siblings... Club team is the Explosion... Member of that roster from 2013-16... Earning an opportunity to continue her softball career, and earn a first-rate education, is her proudest personal accomplishment... The ESPN Wide World of Sports complex is her favorite facility that she has competed at... Helping her team advance to the CIF finals during her sophomore season is her career sports highlight... Traveling around the world and skydiving are two things on her bucket list... Chose UC Davis because of it competitive athletics at a strong academic institution.
