2008: Captured CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII second-team and Big West Academic All-Conference honors... Played in all 60 games, starting all but one... Batted .266 (42-for-158) with team-high 10 doubles and 33 RBIs... Added 23 walks and 4 HBP for .371 on-base average... Became program's first Big West Conference Player of the Week on 3/10, batting .368 with 12 RBIs in seven-game stretch... Immediately followed that honor with 2-for-3, double, homer and 2 RBI vs. Nevad (3/13)... Had seven multi-hit games and team-best seven multi-RBI contests.
2007: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT FIRST TEAM... Made CoSIDA Academic All-District first team... Also on D-I Independent All-Academic squad... Started all 59 games, mostly at catcher... Led team in batting at .315 (51-for-162)... Also led Aggies in numerous offensive categories, including runs (28), doubles (tied, 10), home runs (10), total bases (91), slugging (.562) and on-base average (.415)... Finished 2nd on team with 27 RBIs... Earned D-I Independent Player of the Week for April 3, pounding two homers in three-game set with Pacific (3/31-4/1)... Had 12 multi-hit games, including 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and a homer at Nevada (4/18)... Hit 2-for-3 with double, homer and 3 RBIs vs. Charlotte at Santa Clara Bronco Classic (3/3)... Hit .339 (19-for-56) with 11 runs and 15 walks against Big West Conference teams... Defensively, threw out 13 of 40 attempted base-stealers... Had 4 assists at Santa Clara (3/3) to go with 3 runs and 3 RBIs at the plate.
2006: Played in 40 games, starting 30... Batted 14-for-83 (.169) with 3 doubles, 2 homers... Hit first collegiate HR off UTEP's Meagan Teal in 6th inning of 6-5 comeback win in UNLV Desert Classic (2/17)... Went 2-for-3 with double vs. St. Francis (3/10)... Hit 2-run blast against Long Beach State (5/6)
LIVERMORE HS '05: Earned first-team All-State honors by Cal-Hi Sports as a senior... Batted .485 with .675 on-base average that year, adding 7 doubles, 3 triples and 5 homers... Posted fielding percentage of .998 as a catcher... Selected to All-Contra Costa Times team for a third straight year in 2005, and appeared on that newspaper's Top 100 Athletes roster for a second time... Honored by Alameda News Group as Female Athlete of the Year as a senior and on "Best of the Best" squad as a junior and senior... Made Cal-Hi's All-State Underclassmen team in 2004... Played ASA ball for Runnin' Rebels Gold in Stockton, serving as team captain... Graduated No. 1 in a class of 416, earning nod as valedictorian... Also accomplished in her school's orchestra at first violin... Earned Governor's Scholarship for scoring among state's top five percent on the SAT-9.
PERSONAL: Born in Cheyenne, Wyo.... Majoring in neurobiology, physiology & behavior (NPB)... Parents are Joseph & Lisa Menapace... Older brother, Joseph, Jr., graduated from UC Davis in 2008.
