Batted .225 (29-for-129), tying Rachel Miller for team lead with 4 homers... Scored 13 runs and drove in another 14... Added 3 doubles and a triple toward .357 slugging... Committed just one error defensively (.996)... Had eight 2-hit games, four in an eight-game span in March (3/4-3/15)... Launched 2-run homers in wins vs. Virginia (3/15), UC Santa Barbara (4/28) and Cal State Fullerton (5/11)... Led Aggies in advancing runners with .507 success rate (34 of 67). 2011: Batted 0-for-1 with 2 walks in 4 games as a reserve. MATER DEI HS '10: Three-time All-Trinity League selection, including first-team honors as a senior... Added second-team All-Southern Section accolades in 2010... Batted .429 with .558 slugging average and 24 RBIs that year... Chosen both as school's Female Athlete of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year... Helped Monarchs post 24-3 overall record and CIF-SS postseason berth in 2010... Played travel ball for Mizuno Pride (Torrance, Calif.). PERSONAL: Born in Long Beach, Calif.... Majoring in exercise biology... Daughter of Michael & Kari Nunez... Career highlight was beating Santiago HS at its own tournament (where she earned all-tourney honors).
