Freshman Riley Siegel drives home the game-winner in bottom of the 12th

2018: Appeared in 44 games, making 42 starts at catcher... Made her collegiate debut and collected her first career hit against nationally ranked Tennessee on Feb. 10... Collected two hits in a game on four occasions against Liberty (Feb. 23), UC Riverside (April 21), Cal State Fullerton (April 28), and Long Beach State (May 5)... Drove in a career-high three runs as part of a 2-for-4 day against the Highlanders... Also drove in a pair of runs in a game twice... Slugged her first career home run against the Flames, and added long balls against UC Santa Barbara (April 7) and in the second game of a doubleheader against UC Riverside (April 21)... Led the team by being hit by a pitch nine times -- including once in four straight games from April 7-14... Posted a .984 fielding percentage behind the plate... Caught all 12 innings of a marathon win over nationally ranked Long Beach State on May 5.

Her parents are Ron and Kim… Has three siblings: brothers Barrett and Dillon, and sister Kelsey… Her father is a Michelin-starred chef and became the first and only American to beat an "Iron Chef" on the Japanese version of the popular culinary competition television show… Four-time member of the Drake Honor Crew and California Scholarship Federation as well as a four-time CIF North Coast Section Scholar-Athlete… Helped lead her All-American Sports Academy travel team to a Boulder IDT Tournament title and a 13th place finish at the PGF Nationals… Also finished fifth at PGF Nationals with her Sorcerer 18U squad.
