Converted 106 chances in between miscues... Had 5 multi-hit games, including 3-for-4 effort vs Azusa Pacific... Hit safely in all four NCAA West Regional games... Posted 9 sacrifices (8 bunts).

SALINAS HS '00: First team All-Monterey Bay League and first-team all-county as a senior... Led team to Central Coast Section championship in 1998... Also earned three letters in basketball... Was most inspirational on hoops squad as a junior and MVP as a senior... Also named first team all-league and all-county.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 27, 1981 in Monterey, Calif.... Communication and psychology double major... Daughter of Nancy Sevier... Played ASA ball for San Jose Strikers... Great granddaughter of Cal Aggie Athletic Hall of Famer Henry "Heinie" Sevier, who coached boxing at UC Davis from 1927 to 1940... Her grandfather, Glen, boxed for the Aggies as well.
