2017: Named a starter in 51 of 52 games played… Started 47 games in the outfield and four as the designated hitter… Led the team in batting average with runners in scoring position at .442… Ranked second amongst the team in batting average (.349) which places her sixth in the Big West… Led the team in sacrifice bunts with eight which is tied for seventh in the Big West… Her 13 stolen bases is second amongst the Aggies and tied for sixth in the Big West… She also tied for second amongst the team in multi-hit games with 15, including two four hit games… Her first four-hit game came against Stanford on February 15 in which she finished 4-for-4 with a run, RBI and stolen base… Her second four-hit game came against San Diego on March 4 in which she finished 4-for-4 again with a run and stolen base… Her sole home run on the season came against Cal Poly on April 29 in the second game of the double header in which she hit a grand slam to cap off a 3-for-5 and season-high four-RBI day… Hit .349 versus right-handers, .394 with runners on, .307 with the bases empty, .469 as the leadoff and .297 with two outs.
2016: Ranked No. 124 in the nation, and No. 7 in the Big West Conference, with her 0.38 stolen bases per game average... Six-game hit streak was the longest recorded by any Aggie this season... Of her 44 starts, all but three took place at left field... The other three were in right field... Ranked No. 2 on the team in runs (22) and stolen bases (18)... Competed in 48 games... Posted a season-high three hits vs. South Dakota (2/27), Iona (3.25) and at CSUN (5/13)... Also drove in a season-high three runs vs. South Dakota... Her three-run double, hit with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning, helped UC Davis defeat the Coyotes, 11-10... Also hit doubles on separate days vs. Long Beach State (4/9 and 4/10 Gm. 1)... Hit her first collegiate triple vs. Long Beach State (4/10, Gm. 2)... Stole a season-high two bases on four occasions: vs. South Dakota (2/28), Stony Brook (3/12), Iona (3/25) and Dartmouth (3/26).
BUTTE COLLEGE (2014-15): Earned Athletic Academic recognition for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher... Played shortstop for a team that posted a 32-11 overall and 13-3 Golden Valley Conference record... Hit .429, recorded a .514 on-base pct., scored 64 runs, drove in another 31, hit seven home runs and stole 34 bases - the third-highest total in the state that year.
CAL STATE SAN MARCOS (2013-14): Appeared in 35 games during her freshman season... Hit .400... Led the team in stolen bases (15-16)... Her team finished the year with a 39-9-1 record... Earned Dean's List recognition both semesters, also held the highest GPA on the team.
PARADISE HS '13: First team all-league and all-section selection as a junior and senior, and the MVP of the section championships... Led the team in stolen bases in 2012, 2013 and hit above .400 as a senior... Paradise also won a league and section championship her senior year... Batted .433, posted a .456 OBP, recorded 52 hits, 42 runs and stole more bases than anyone else in her league... Also competed in basketball and cheerleading for the Bobcats ... Played club softball for the Chico Starz.
PERSONAL: One of Jay and Wendy Peters' three children... Markie is her older sister, Colton is her younger brother... Sheridan Hawkins (Oregon) is the best athlete she has competed against... Earning All-Northern California accolades, following the 2015 season at Butte College, is her career sports highlight... Jackie Robinson is her sports hero... CrossFit is her hobby... Travel, compete in the CrossFit Games and winning a conference title at UC Davis are the top three things on her bucket list... You can take away everything she owns except her bat... It has been her dream to attend UC Davis since high school.
