DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis College ID Camp, designed for softball players in grades 7-11, will take place at La Rue Field and run from July 16-18.
The final camp of the summer organized by Aggie Softball, the College ID Camp is intended for softball players who are interested in competing on a high school varsity team or possess a goal of competing at the collegiate level. Campers will receive hands-on training on the mechanics of fielding, hitting, throwing, baserunning and position play.
Participants must bring her own glove, bat, cleats, batting helmet, snack and/or lunch, and are encouraged to also bring sunblock, visor, and a water bottle. A concession stand will be open during all three days of instruction
This is not an overnight camp, players traveling form out of town will be responsible for securing their own accomodation. Per NCAA rules, sport camps and clinics conducted by UC Davis are open to all entrants. Enrollment is available on a first-come, first served basis and is limited only by age, grade level, gender, and capacity restrictions.
