2013-14: ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... Won all six singles matches... Competed in the No. 6 singles slot... Four of her six wins were earned in straight-set shutout fashion, earned against UC Riverside (2/17), Sonoma State (3/2), Eastern Washington (3/26) and Cal State Stanislaus (3/28)... Split her two doubles matches played with Tiffany Pham... Both doubles contests took place during fall competition at the Saint Mary's Invitational... Lone doubles victory was earned against Gonzaga's Melanie Yates and Sissi Koehler.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Maria van Acker and JJ Sleiffer... Her greatest personal accomplishment took place when she earned her IB diploma with 39/45 points... Not many people know that she is Dutch, but has never lived in the Netherlands... Before arriving to Davis, Sleiffer has lived inBrussels, Athens, London and Frankfurt... Her career athletics highlight took place when she won the ITF juniors doubles tournament, a victory that led to an international ranking... Also loves to swim... Enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and shopping...Kim Clijsters, for coming back after she had a child to win the Australian Open, is her sports hero... Is planning to continue her education and pursue an MBA... Chose UC Davis because of the way her future teammates and Coach Maze welcomed her. She felt like she was already part of the team during her official visit and decided that there was no other option but Davis after that... Also chose UC Davis due to its amazing academic programs... Her favorite facility is located in Doha, Qatar, at the tennis compound that hosted the Masters World Tour... After earning an MBA, she plans to become fluent in five languages in order to work at for a large enterprise, company or philanthropic organization... Would love to visit China... As a member of her club team, she was once ranked 900 in the world in the ITF juniors, captured an ITF U15 and U18 doubles title... advanced to four ITF semifinals... Earned a No. 58 Belgium seniors ranking.
