2016-17: BIG WEST ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM...Finished her junior season with a 12-12 overall, 10-9 dual, 2-3 tournament and 3-1 conference singles record... Went 1-3 at No. 2 and 1-2 at No. 3, before finding her niche at the No. 4 slot... Picked up five wins at No. 4 and another three at No. 5... Went 8-2 between February 25 and April 7, including two four-game win streaks (2/25-3/04, 3/17-4/07)... Was 3-1 in Big West Conference play with straight-set victories over Cal Poly (3/04), CSUN (3/30) and Long Beach State (4/07)... Only Big West loss came at Hawaii to start conference play on February 12... Did not participate in doubles play.
2015-16: BIG WEST ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM... Won a team-high 19 overall singles victories (out of 26 played)... Among all Aggies, Lee's 15-3 dual and 5-1 record against Big West opponents are the best in each respective category... Won her last nine straight singles matches... Collected a singles victory in 13 of her last 14 contests... Won her only singles match played at No. 2 and posted a 14-3 record at singles No. 3... Won all six of her three-set singles matches... At the Cal Fall Invitational, she defeated Nevada's Blaga Delic, ranked No. 3 in her flight, to win a singles championship... Posted a 10-5 overall, 7-3 dual and 1-2 record vs. Big West opponents in doubles play... Won three doubles matches at No. 2 and No. 3, and posted respective records of 3-1 and 3-2... at No. 2 and No. 3... Won her only doubles match played at No. 1... Seven doubles wins were earned alongside Lani-Rae Green, the rest were collected with Kristy Jorgensen... She and Jorgensen won all three doubles duals played... Posted an unblemished records, and earned one-third of her team's points when the Aggies hosted Cal State Fullerton (2/20) and Sacramento State (2/21).
2014-15: ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... In her first year at UC Davis, Lee led all Aggies with 20 overall singles wins... Fifteen of those victories took place in dual competition, primarily at the No. 5 position... Also competed at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6... Won four of five singles matches at No. 6... Also collected three doubles victories; two of those three wins took place in dual competition alongside Tiffany Pham... The Aggies' singles specialist won nine of her last 10 matches, including seven in a row... Won all three of her three-set singles contests... Won her first singles match as an Aggie in the team's season opener vs. Northern Arizona (1/16)... Earned a doubles win at San Francisco (2/21) and against UC Riverside (3/1)... Lee recorded individual sweeps on both occasions.
EVERGREEN VALLEY HS '14: Posted a perfect 26-0 singles record throughout her two varsity seasons as a member of the girls' tennis team... Competed at No. 1 singles both years... Named the team's MVP as a freshman and sophomore class athlete nominee the following year...San Jose Mercury News first team selection both seasons... Captured the Mt. Hamilton Division individual and Blossom Valley Athletic League individual championships as a freshman and sophomore... Also reached the Central Coast Sectional quarterfinals both years... Graduated Magna Cum Laude.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Selina and Hong Kuo Lee... Older sibling Jamie graduated from UC Berkeley in 2013... Majoring in food science... Enjoys baking, cooking, listening to music and spending time outdoors... Her recruitment to UC Davis is her proudest personal accomplishment... Not many people know that she is a former cheerleader... Interested in skydiving and zip-lining before she turns 30... Chose to attend UC Davis because she felt that the school offered the perfect balance between academics and sports... The Virginia Beach Tennis and Country Club is her favorite facility... Interested in starting her own food-related business after she graduates... Her superstition involves bouncing the tennis ball in even numbers before she serves.
