2006-07: Posted 10-19 singles record, mostly at No. 4 (7-10)... Added 10-21 doubles mark (6-14 with Herzyl Legaspi)... Claimed 6-2, 6-1 win over Cal State Fullerton's Brandy Andrews in close 4-3 team win... Selected to Div. I Independent All-Academic squad.

2005-06: DIV. I INDEPENDENT ALL-NEWCOMER TEAM... Finished 8-13 in doubles, including 7-7 mark with Nancy Mok... Kappel/Mok tandem played one match at No. 1, beating Weber State's Inalise Pienaar/Elana Smit team... Finished 6-19 singles mark, mostly at No. 4... Picked up two wins on team's Hawaii trip, including 6-1, 6-2 victory over the Wahine's Samantha Cappella.

IOLANI SCHOOL '05: Ranked No. 1 in girls' 18 singles in Hawaii Pacific Region in 2004... Earned second-team All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu honors three times... Played No. 1 singles as a junior and senior... Placed 3rd in ILH as a junior... Reached singles quarterfinals of Hawaii High School Athletic Association state championships in 2005.
