2014-15: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES SECOND TEAM... Won four singles matches at the No. 1 position... Also won one tournament match... All of her team-high 18 doubles victories took place with Kristy Jorgensen as her partner... All of her 15 dual wins, a team-high total, took place at the No. 1 position... Those 15 doubles wins equaled the number of victories earned throughout her first three seasons combined... Ended the season with seven straight doubles victories... Advanced to the semifinal round of the main draw at the Cal Fall Invitational (9/28).
2013-14: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES FIRST TEAM... Five of her six singles wins were earned in dual matches... Collected two victories at No. 2 and another three at No. 3... Played all 24 doubles matches with Nicole Koehly... Earned three doubles victory in fall play... Posted an 8-10 dual record in doubles play, all earned at the No. 1 spot... Won 4 of 6 league doubles matches... Won five straight matches midway through the season (2/17-3/9).
2012-13: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SINGLES HONORABLE MENTION... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES HONORABLE MENTION... Finished the season tied for second on the team with 14 overall singles victories... Recorded seven singles wins in both the fall and spring seasons... Advanced to the final round of the consolation bracket at the Cal Nike Invitational (9/28-30)... Also advanced to the Saint Mary Invitational's round of 16 (10/12-14)... Throughout singles dual competition, Sanders competed as a No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3... Posted respective singles records of 1-4, 4-7 and 2-4... She recorded a 7-9 doubles dual record with All-Big West honoree Nicole Koehly as her partner... Sanders and Koehly split their six matches as the team's No. 1 doubles and won four of 10 matches at the No. 2 spot... Also earned one doubles victory in the fall alongside Lauren Curry... Finished the regular season with doubles wins in four of six matches.
2011-12: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES SECOND TEAM... Posted an 11-5 singles record as a true freshman, playing primarily at the No. 5 position where she went 9-2... Also saw action at No. 6 singles, going 2-2 with wins over Cal Poly's Ane McPike and Santa Clara's Jessica Anga... Competed at No. 4 singles against UC Riverside's Courtney Pattugalan, dropping a 6-3, 6-0 decision... Went 5-3 in Big West singles action and claimed a 6-1, 6-1 win over Pacific's Summer Irvin in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament... Paired mainly with Kelly Chui in doubles, going 4-2 at the No. 1 position and No. 1-1 at No. 2 for a combined 5-3 mark... Won four of the final six matches of the year, including an 8-4 victory over Pacific in the Big West Tournament quarterfinals... Posted a 2-4 mark with Ellie Edles at No. 2 and 3 doubles and was 0-5 with Dahra Zamudio.
EL CERRITO HS '11: Ranked in the top five in the NorCal region in every age group, including three separate No. 1 rankings...In 2006, she was in the top 20 of the USTA National Rankings and was a finalist at the Copper Bowl... Went undefeated in prep play in 2007 and was the ACCAL Champion... Was also a member of the Jr. Fed Cup Team and the Pacific Cup Team in the NorCal region during 2007... Repeated as ACCAL Champion after going undefeated in prep play... Was a finalist at NCS and again was a member of the Jr .Fed Cup Team in the NorCal Region.
PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, California... Majoring in chemical engineering... Parents are Layton Sanders and Imelda Quineri... Chose to attend UC Davis because of the campus environment, academics and the tennis team... Hopes to one day visit all of Europe.
