2013-14: W.P. LINDLEY AWARD recipient as UC Davis' outstanding student-athlete... BIG WEST FEMALE SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SINGLES FIRST-TEAM, the fourth time Heneghan earned singles honors from the league... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES HONORABLE MENTION... Named BIG WEST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK on Feb. 19, March 12 and April 23 -- the first time in Division I history that an Aggie earned weekly accolades from the conference on three occasions... Ranked No. 90 from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association in its annual Division I preseason rankings... This was the first time that a women's tennis student-athlete earned a ranking from the governing body in the program's history... Ended her collegiate career with an 18-10 overall, 14-5 dual, 4-5 tournament and 5-2 conference record in singles competition, all earned at the No. 1 position... Posted a 21-5 doubles mark, primarily at the No. 2 position... Won both doubles matches played alongside Melissa Kobayakawa at No. 1 and a program-high 18 of 21 doubles duals at No. 2... Her 21 overall doubles victories are a new program high... Closed out the season by winning a school-record 16 consecutive matches alongside Kobayakawa.
2012-13: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SINGLES SECOND TEAM... ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE for second consecutive year... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM for second consecutive year... Went 11-13 overall and 7-11 in dual matches as the team's primary No. 1 singles player... Helped UC Davis defeat two nationally ranked teams by posting singles victories over No. 63 Sacramento State's Rebeca Delgado (2/15) and No. 64 San Jose State's Klaudia Boczova (3/3)... Boczova was ranked No. 40 in the nation at the time of the match... In doubles play, Heneghan went 10-14 overall and 7-11 in dual action... Earned three victories in the fall with Layla Sanders... Earned a split of two dual matches at the No. 3 position with Lauren Curry... Won one of three matches as a No. 2 with Melissa Kobayakawa... Also won five of eight doubles matches with Kobayakawa at the No. 3 spot.
2011-12: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SINGLES FIRST TEAM for second consecutive year... ITA SCHOLAR-ATHLETE... BIG WEST CONFERENCE ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Served as No. 1 singles player for majority of the year, finishing with a 7-8 record, while also posting a 5-2 record at No. 2 singles... Went 15-15 overall with a 12-10 dual match record and a 3-5 mark in fall tournament action... Put together a four-match winning streak, posting victories over No. 67 UC Santa Barbara and No. 46 Cal Poly... Fell just three points shy of defeating Stanford's Mallory Burdette, the nation's No. 1 player at the time... Wins over San Francisco's Julia Wartenburger and Fresno State's Olga Kirpicheva earned her Big West Conference Athlete of the Week honors... Closed regular season with three straight wins... Paired with Kelly Chui at No. 1 doubles for a 10-14 record, including a 6-10 dual match record and a 2-2 Big West Conference record... Went 4-2 at No. 2 doubles with Ellie Edles, including a win over Pacific's Gergana Boncheva and Sarah Irvin in the quarterfinal round of the Big West Tournament... Won four of the final five matches of the year with Edles... Big West Conference Spring All-Academic selection... Helped the Aggies' women's tennis team earn an NCAA Public Recognition Award for an outstanding Academic Progress Rate (APR) for the seventh consecutive season with a perfect score of 1,000.
2010-11: BIG WEST FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR... SINGLES FIRST-TEAM ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE... DOUBLES SECOND-TEAM ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE... TEAM MVP... Burst on the Big West scene as a true freshman, serving as the Aggies' top singles player... Finished 13-6 at the No. 1 spot with a 15-8 overall mark... Had a 5-3 record in conference singles competition... Five of her eight singles losses came against nationally ranked teams... Added a 2-2 mark during fall play... Managed a 13-8 doubles record in dual matches with a 5-3 mark in Big West play... Was 3-2 in fall doubles matches for an overall record of 16-10.
BECKMAN HS '10: Helped lead her team to a Pacific Coast League three-peat, winning the league championship in 2007-09... Amassed some impressive stats with a 56-1 overall record in 2009, a 54-1 record in 2008 and a 52-2 mark in 2007... Totaled a 162-3 combined record while at Beckman... Awarded League MVP honors in 2007-09... Also received All-County recognition in 2009 and was named the Beckman Athlete of the Year in 2009... Finished with a GPA of 4.1 or higher in all four years of high school.
PERSONAL: Born in Laguna Niguel, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Cindy and Joe Heneghan... Lists Roger Federer as her sports hero... Was an active member of advanced choir in high school and tried out for American Idol in 2009.
