UC Davis' top two doubles teams earn all-league recognition; Heneghan also receives singles accolades

2013-14: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES FIRST TEAM... Posted a 6-20 overall singles record... Won five dual matches... Of her victories, one was earned at No. 2, three were captured at No. 3 and one at No. 5... Earned back-to-back wins against Eastern Washington (3/26) and Cal State Stanislaus (3/28)... Recorded an 11-13 overall and 8-10 doubles dual record, all alongside Layla Sanders... The two also won 4 of 6 Big West matches... Koehly and Sanders held a five-match doubles win streak at one point of the season with victories against UC Riverside (2/17), San Francisco (2/22), Sacramento State (2/23), UC Santa Barbara (3/8) and Cal Poly (3/9).
2012-13: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE DOUBLES HONORABLE MENTION... Her 16 overall and 13 dual singles victories are the second-highest totals on the team... Went 5-2 at the No. 5 singles position and 8-3 as the team's No. 6... Ended her year with victories in five of six singles matches... Her 6-2, 6-4 triumph over No. 63 Sacramento State's Saskia Angerer (2/15) helped UC Davis earn its first win over a nationally ranked opponent in 2013... Also defeated Jessica Willett in three sets to help UC Davis earn a 4-3 upset victory at No. 64 San Jose State (3/3)... Koehly's straight-set singles win over Courtney Pattugalan (UC Riverside) at the Big West Women's Tennis Championships (4/25) helped UC Davis advance to the quarterfinal round... Ended her junior season with eight overall and seven dual doubles victories... Won one match, with Lauren Curry, during fall competition... Alongside Layla Sanders, who also earned all-Big West doubles recognition, Koehly split six matches at the No. 2 position and went 4-6 as a No. 3... Ended the regular season with wins in four of six matches.
2011-12: Concluded sophomore season with a 14-10 overall record and a 7-7 mark in dual match play... Went 3-6 at No. 5 singles and 4-1 at the No. 6 position while posting a 2-1 record in Big West Conference matches... Opened fall season with six straight wins, including a victory over BYU's Aubrey Paul to claim the white singles title at the Cal Nike Invitational... Won three straight regular season matches to close the season, then picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win over Pacific in the quarterfinals of the Big West Tournament... Paired with Dahra Zamudio for the team's best doubles record, going 12-11 overall with a 4-1 mark in the Big West... Added a 4-3 fall record, winning the red doubles consolation final 8-5 at the Saint Mary's Invitational... The duo went 8-2 at No. 3 doubles, winning seven of final eight matches of the year, but was 0-6 at the No. 2 position... Also paired with Ellie Edles at No. 3 doubles in three dual matches.
2010-11: Finished with a 12-9 overall record in dual match singles as a true freshman... Played the majority of her matches at the No. 4 position, recording a 8-7 mark... Totaled a 4-3 record during conference play... Had a combined 7-12 doubles dual match record with multiple partners... Posted a 3-2 record during fall play with partner Dahra Zamudio.
EL MODENA HS '10: Served as the No. 1 varsity singles player at El Modena for three years... Was the No. 2 singles player as a freshman... Helped lead her team to a second place finish in the Century League... Received a varsity letter in all four years of high school... Awarded First-Team All-State in the Southern California CIF for four consecutive years.
PERSONAL: Born in Santa Ana, Calif.... Majoring in film studies... Parents are Dina and Craig Koehly... Also participated in track during high school.
