2006-07: Finished 10-20 in singles, 13-13 in doubles (12-7 with Desiree Stone, 1-6 with Jenna Kappel)... Enjoyed four-match win streak down final stretch, including comeback from 6-2 first set vs. Concordia's Michelle Esquivel in Ojai opener... Split time at top three singles slots in dual action, with 10 appearances at No. 2... Guier-Stone tandem played at No. 2 for all 19 matches, winning four straight on two different occasions.
2005-06: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT FIRST TEAM... Led Aggies in wins for second straight year... Went 19-15 in singles, including 10-7 mark at No. 2 slot... Advanced to singles semifinal at the Ojai... Won five straight dual matches in February, including 6-2, 7-6 win over Santa Clara's Stepanie Galainena in first match at No. 1 position... Reached Blue final of Saint Mary's Invitational during fall season, sweeping Mylene Martin of USF in 6-2, 6-1 semifinal win. Finished 11-17 in doubles with four different partners... Teamed with Ally Muller for 9-10 mark... Muller/Guier edged Sacramento State's Irina Taranenko and Anastassia Lyssenko, 9-7, in Causeway Classic dual.
2004-05: Aggies' overall winningest player, finishing 16-13 in singles and 14-13 in doubles... Played in No. 2 singles slot in duals, tallying 7-11 mark... Advanced to quarterfinals of Saint Mary's Invite after posting wins over Megan Tiegs of USF and Bach Lan Pham of Nevada... Finished season with six straight wins and individual title at Women's Independent Championships in Ojai, Calif... Topped Grand Canyon's Nikita Bhardwaj in straight sets in tournament final... Played all 27 doubles matches with Ally Muller... Tandem advanced to final match of Ojai tourney.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Monte Vista HS in 2004... Played one year of prep tennis, going undefeated and capturing Monticello Empire League title for Napa HS as a sophomore in 2001... Also attended Justin Siena HS as a freshman... Ranked 62nd in national 18-and-under division... Climbed into top 10 in both Northern California 18s and 16s rankings, reaching as high as No. 2 in 2004... Advanced to semifinals of USTA National Open 18s in 2003.
PERSONAL: Born in Napa, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Brian & Judy Guier... Favorite facility she's played were the venues in Palm Springs during the Easter Bowl National Juniors tourney... Career highlight was capturing singles title at 2005 Ojai tournament... Selected (along with Muller) to compete in mixed-doubles exhibition with John McEnroe and Wayne Ferreira during dedication ceremonies for the Marya Welch Tennis Center in April 2005.
