Aggies earn first doubles sweep of the season against the Highlanders

2011-12: Posted an 11-5 singles record as a true freshman, playing primarily at the No. 5 position where she went 9-2... Also saw action at No. 6 singles, going 2-2 with wins over Cal Poly's Ane McPike and Santa Clara's Jessica Anga... Competed at No. 4 singles against UC Riverside's Courtney Pattugalan, dropping a 6-3, 6-0 decision... Went 5-3 in Big West singles action and claimed a 6-1, 6-1 win over Pacific's Summer Irvin in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament... Paired mainly with Kelly Chui in doubles, going 4-2 at the No. 1 position and No. 1-1 at No. 2 for a combined 5-3 mark... Won four of the final six matches of the year, including an 8-4 victory over Pacific in the Big West Tournament quarterfinals... Posted a 2-4 mark with Ellie Edles at No. 2 and 3 doubles and was 0-5 with Dahra Zamudio.

EL CERRITO HS '11: Ranked in the top five in the NorCal region in every age group, including three separate No. 1 rankings...In 2006, she was in the top 20 of the USTA National Rankings and was a finalist at the Copper Bowl... Went undefeated in prep play in 2007 and was the ACCAL Champion... Was also a member of the Jr. Fed Cup Team and the Pacific Cup Team in the NorCal region during 2007... Repeated as ACCAL Champion after going undefeated in prep play... Was a finalist at NCS and again was a member of the Jr .Fed Cup Team in the NorCal Region.

PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, Calif... Majoring in biomedical engineering... Parents are Layton Sanders and Imelda Quineri... Chose to attend UC Davis because of the campus environment, academics and the tennis team... Hopes to one day visit all of Europe.
