2007-08: Went 10-10 in singles and 9-11 in doubles...Posted 3-2 fall record before wining seven more times in the spring...Played 12 of her 15 dual matches at No. 5...Doubles success included 4-1 record with Andrea Phillips...Played 15 times at No. 3, mostly with Robin Guier (3-7)...Went 2-2 at No. 2 doubles.

2006-07: Led Aggies with 19-13 doubles record, paired with Anita Athavale... Shapiro-Athavale team advanced to final at Ojai, beating Stephanie Hammond/Lisa Steckmest of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in semifinal... Garnered Div. I Independent All-Academic honors... Posted 11-15 singles mark, mostly at No. 6 (11-9)... Opened spring season with split-set win over Arizona State's Amanda Martin... Came back from first-set loss to beat Jerusha Cruz in three during Aggies' 4-3 win over Cal State Fullerton.

2005-06: Went 3-6 in singles, 4-9 in doubles (with Audrey Wingo)... Won two matches at Saint Mary's Invitational, including 6-1, 6-1 vs. San Jose State's Roshie Larijani.

STOCKDALE HS '05: Starred in both tennis and track & field... Won Central Section doubles title as a junior in 2003... Won Southwest Yosemite League singles title, then placed 3rd in singles at CIF-CS championships as a senior... Compiled 61-13 record in last two years, helping Mustangs to section banners each time... Twice earned All-SYL honors in pole vault for track team, winning league and area championships in 2002... Team won section title both years... Won American Legion Best Senior and Stockdale Heisman awards for academic prowess.

PERSONAL: Born in Neillsville, Wisc.... Majoring in exercise biology... Parents are Steve & Sherry Shapiro... Proudest personal accomplishment was serving to win the valley doubles championship after facing five match points.
