MORAGA, Calif. - Sophomore Audrey Wingo was the last Aggie standing, advancing to the consolation quarterfinals before falling to Air Force's Gina Black, 7-5, 6-1, on the final day of play at the 2003 Saint Mary's College ITA Invitational.
Wingo, who dropped her opening-round match on Friday, came back with two victories in the consoaltion draw on Saturday to set up the meeting with Black.
The Saint Mary's Invitational concluded fall-season play for UC Davis. The Aggies will open the 2004 spring season on February 1 when they travel to face Cal State Bakersfield.
