STANFORD, Calif. - Amanda Wise posted a three-set win over Dunya Stankovic before rain halted play Saturday morning at the Wilson/Intercollegiate Northwest Women's Regional Championship at the Taube Tennis Stadium. Wise took the court early and was one of two Aggie players to complete their morning round before rain washed out the majority of Saturday's play. Wise dropped the first set before rebounding for the 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-6) win over Saint Mary's Stankovic. The third set was played as a 10-point tiebreaker. In addition to Wise, Aggie Ashley Lehman dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision to USF's Anna Skogerboe in a consolation match. Two other Aggies, Audrey Wingo and Natalie Rozenblum, were early in their first sets when they were forced to stop. Play continues at the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northwest Women's Regional Championship through Monday.
