DAVIS, Calif. - Randi Schuler, a senior on the UC Davis women's tennis team, has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District First Team. Schuler recently concluded her tennis career for the Aggies and was one of 10 student-athletes in the district to be named to the women's at-large first team.

Schuler played her final two collegiate seasons for the Aggies and played every match at the No. 1 position. The English major was a 2009 Big West Conference Scholar Athlete. As a junior, she was an All-Big West first-team selection. Schuler led the Aggies the past two years with 28 wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.

A total of 32 student-athletes in the district received recognition as part of the first, second or third teams.
