DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis women's tennis team wraps up its fall schedule this weekend, as they travel to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northwest Regional Championships, with competition scheduled for Oct. 21-25 in Stanford, Calif.
The ITA event is hosted by Stanford with matches being held at the Taube Tennis Center. In addition to UC Davis and Stanford, players from the following schools will be in play this weekend: California, Cal Poly, Fresno State, Oregon, Portland, Pacific, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Francisco, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Washington and Washington State.
The tournament features a 128-line singles draw and a 64-line doubles draw. Two singles rounds and the opening doubles round will be played on Friday. Several players and teams have byes in the first rounds of both singles and doubles.
Ten Aggies will compete this weekend, including Kelly Chui, Lauren Curry, Zoe Davidson, Noelle Eades, Ellie Edles, Megan Heneghan, Melissa Kobayakawa, Nicole Koehly, Phuong An Nguyen-Huu and Dahra Zamudio.
