Each player shared their thoughts regarding their favorite tenet from John Wooden's Pyramid of Success in front of over 500 students grades K-6 before hosting a tennis skills demonstration.
On three 36-foot QuickStart courts provided through HFK's partnership with the USTA, Maze, Jackson and members of the women's tennis team had an opportunity to teach tennis fundamentals first-hand and compete against numerous Dewey students.
By complementing their playing experience with the 14 blocks that comprise the Pyramid of Success, kids in attendance learned how to become a more positive and productive person through this character-based assembly and outdoor skills presentation.
