Earned three All-CCAA awards, placing 3rd (56.12) in 400, plus 2nd-place finishes in 4x100 (47.31) and 4x400 (3:37.54) relays... Had team?s best 400 mark of the year with NCAA provisional-qualifying 55.65 at Sacramento State Spring Invite... That time ranks 2nd only behind Kameelah Elarms in Aggie annals.

2001: OUTDOOR ALL-AMERICAN on 3rd-place 4x400 relay team (3:43.07)... Also anchored 13th-place 4x100 squad (47.50)... Led off CCAA CHAMPION 4x400 team (3:44.08) and anchored 2nd-place 4x100 (47.65)... Placed 3rd in 400 (season-best 56.63)... Ran season-bests in 100 (12.87) and 200 (26.38) at Cal?s Brutus Hamilton Invite.

2000: OUTDOOR ALL-AMERICAN as part of 2nd-place 4x400 relay which set school-record 3:40.57 at nationals... Placed 15th in 400 at NCAAs (57.04) and anchored 9th-place 4x100 relay that set school-record 46.88 in prelims... CCAA CHAMPION as part of 4x400 (3:46.54)... Captured 2nd in 400 at conference with PR 55.69, 2nd all-time at UC Davis... Ran a 26.59 200 indoors at Cosby, 3rd all-time on school indoor list.

NORTH MONTEREY COUNTY HS ?99: Four-year standout in track and volleyball... State finalist in 400 as a senior in only her seventh attempt in that event... Earned All-Monterey Bay League in track and reached Central Coast Section finals all four years... Also earned all-league in volleyball.

PERSONAL: Born May 7, 1981 in Watsonville, Calif.... Majoring in psychology, although it was animal science that first drew her to UC Davis...Would title her autobiography ?Why Did I Do That??... Trains personal-protection dogs, something of which she?d like to make her career.
