CROSS COUNTRY: Captured All-West Region honors as a junior in 2002, finishing 10th... Went on to place 58th at nationals... Has twice earned All-CCAA honors, placing 4th in 2002, 10th in 2001... Also finished 16th at West Regional, 60th at NCAAs in 2000.

UC SAN DIEGO: Ran cross country only... Placed 17th at CCAA Championships, 11th at D-III West Regional as a freshman... Earned Rookie of the Year honors.

CAMPOLINDO HS ?99: Placed 4th at North Coast Section cross country meet in each of last two years... Placed 16th as a senior, 17th as a junior at state championships... Led team to three straight section titles... Twice earned All-Tri-County Athletic League in 2-mile in track.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 3, 1980 in Encino, Calif.... Communication major... Sports hero is Lance Armstrong... Non-sports hero is her grandfather... Given the opportunity, would invite Rosa Parks, Anne Frank and Steve Prefontaine to a dinner if she could.
