2002: NCAA Championships qualifier in the steeplechase, placing 11th (11:32.53)... Was CCAA runner-up, posting 11:20.06... Hit national provisional-qualifying mark of 11:09.10 at Mt. SAC.

2001: Redshirted.

CROSS COUNTRY: Had breakout year in 2001, earning All-America (15th), All-West Region (4th) and All-CCAA (3rd) status as a sophomore... Has earned all-conference honors all three yearrs, placing 10th as a freshman, 14th as a junior.

ALHAMBRA HS ?00: Took 10th at state cross country championships as a junior (despite battle with strep throat), then followed with 11th-place as a senior... Won Tri-County Athletic League title as a senior... Two-time MVP in both cross and track... Placed 8th in 800 at North Coast Section meet as a freshman... Finished 6th, 7th and 8th in 1,600 at NCS meet during her final three seasons... Part of 4x400 team that finished 2nd at Penn Relays... Won school?s Most Valuable Athlete Scholarship.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 28, 1982 in Walnut Creek, Calif.... Majoring in exercise science... Nicknamed ?Neusie?... If not for track and cross country, would like to participate in gymnastics at UC Davis.
