Former U.S. National Team member and Pacific All-American Addie Hauschild enters her fourth season with the Aggie women's volleyball program.

She arrived at UC Davis by way of the Golden Bear Volleyball Club in Berkeley, Calif., where she served one year as an assistant coach. Hauschild previously served as head coach at the Colorado Springs School from 2003 to 2004.

Although a middle blocker as a collegiate player, Hauschild earned a spot as a libero on the U.S. National Team in 2002. In addition to her two-year stint with Team USA, she also played for the Minnesota Chill of the U.S. Professional Volleyball League, earning Libero of the Year honors in 2001. Hauschild has since retained her ties with USA Volleyball, serving on staffs for Youth and Junior National Team camps and as a training coach at the National Team open tryout in Colorado Springs.

Originally from Sacramento, Calif. and Hiram Johnson High School, Hauschild enjoyed an outstanding career at Pacific before embarking on her professional and National Team career. She earned first-team AVCA All-Region and All-Big West Conference honors in 1996 and 1997, after capturing second-team nods as a sophomore in 1995.

Hauschild also earned Big West Freshman of the Year recognition in 1994, the same season Volleyball Monthly named her to its All-America squad. She finished her Tiger career with 955 kills, a .304 hitting average, 116 aces, 1003 digs and 505 blocks. Through 2005, Hauschild continues to rank among Pacific's all-time top 10 in hitting percentage and total blocks. She earned her B.A. degree in sports sciences from Pacific in 1998.
