RIM OF THE WORLD HS ’00: Earned first-team All-Sunkist League honors in each of her last three years... Voted MVP as a sophomore and senior, Most Improved as a junior... Played left side, defensive specialist, setter and right side through her career... Also competed for Mile High Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: Born in San Bernardino, Calif.... Human development major... Age 21 throughout season... Parents are James & Bridgett Johnstone... The best sports “facility” she’s played are the San Diego beaches... As such, the best athlete she’s faced is Eric Sato.
