DAVIS, Calif. - Junior outside hitter Kelly Gaudino posted 12 kills and 12 digs to lead UC Davis to a 32-30, 30-25, 30-26 sweep over San Francisco State in California Collegiate Athletic Assocation women's volleyball action at The Swamp Saturday.

The victory snaps a seven-game losing streak for the Aggies, who improve to 5-8 on the season and 1-3 in conference play. The Gators drop to 6-7 overall, and 0-4 in league.

Senior Cassandra Prell enjoyed a solid night in the middle for UC Davis, posting eight kills against one error for a .438 hitting percentage. She was also the team's leading blocker, with three solos and four assisted blocks.

Additionally, Kim Vincent recorded eight kills for the Aggies, while Kate Wilton knocked down seven kills and had 10 digs. Freshman Jill McPheeters had five kills and no errors for a .357 hitting percentage.

As a team, UC Davis had 10 service aces and 10.0 total blocks.

S.F. State was led by Tessa Hedstrom with 11 kills and a .421 hitting average. Teammate Erinn Kelly had a team-high 12 digs.

The Aggies return to Hickey Gym for continued CCAA action when they host Cal State L.A. Friday.
