TURLOCK, Calif. --- Sophomore Jackie Coudert posted 13 kills to lead
four Warriors in double-figured offense as Cal St. Stanislaus swept UC Davis
in a California Collegiate Athletic Assocation women's volleyball season
finale at Warrior Gym Saturday.
The Aggies end their season with an 8-23 overall mark and a 4-18 record
in conference matches. The Warriors finish at 19-13 a program record
and 13-9 in league play.
Senior Cassandra Prell ended her two-year career by leading UC Davis
with nine kills and three blocked shots. Libero Mary McClelland collected
15 digs to pace the Aggie defense.
Cal St. Stanislaus' three seniors all enjoyed quality performances to
end their respective careers. Opposite Mary Beacham had 10 kills and hit
.474 to go with nine digs and three service aces. Two-sport star Amanda
Oliver hit 10 kills en route to a .348 hitting average, and added two solo
blocks in the middle. Setter Tara Hillis notched 41 assists to set a Warrior
single-season record in that category.
UC Davis made its strong showing in the opening game, hitting .281 as

the Aggies dropped to .045 and .000 in the final two games, respectively.
On the other hand, Stanislaus ran an efficient offense, posting hitting
averages of .474 and .393 in the first two games.
