CLOVIS WEST HS’17: Played water polo in both high school and at the Royal Water Polo Academy for three years and did swimming all four years… In water polo, she played attacker sophomore year, utility junior year, and center/defender senior year, while doing the 100 breast stroke and 100 freestyle in swimming, winning the CIF Swim of the Meet award freshman year… During her junior year in water polo, she got the Best Offensive Player award, was first team all-conference, and second team all-valley… For her last year of water polo, she was awarded with the MVP award for the Tri Athletic River Conference and for her high school’s varsity team, was deemed as Fresno Bee’s Water Polo Player the Year, and finished first team all-conference and all-valley… During her high school career, she took part in winning six CIF Central Section DI Championships… In academics, she was on the Principal’s Honor roll all four years, was a USA Water Polo Academic All-American Outstanding Achiever three years in a row, got a Principal’s Medallion and was the Central Section CIF Scholar Athlete Scholarship Winner her senior year.
PERSONAL: Born in Fresno, Calif… Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and plans to pursue a career as a mechanical engineer… Parents are Susan and Jonathan… Has two a younger sisters Rebecca (14) and Quinn (5)… Says her proudest accomplishment is graduating with Salutatorian honors… Her career sports highlight is scoring five out of the eight goals in a league game against their rival team… If she could play another sport at UC Davis, it would be basketball… The reason she chose UC Davis Athletics was because she know that this program would be the perfect fit for her.
