VINTAGE HS ’16: Four-time All-Sac-Joaquin Section honoree, including first-team distinction as a junior and senior... Added All-Napa County first-team acclaim during final three seasons... Scored 107 goals with 144 steals en route to Monticello Empire League MVP nod in 2015... Selected to NISCA All-America third team as a senior... Fifth-team All-American in 2014, thanks in part to 63 goals and 54 assists... Set Crusher record for 196 steals in a season as a sophomore... Also an All-MEL performer and team MVP in swimming... Played three seasons with nearby Davis WPC.

PERSONAL: Born in Napa, Calif.... Majoring in communication... Parents are Mark & Laura Schafle... Nicknamed “Squishy,” but apparently the backstory is a lengthy one... Proudest personal accomplishment comes from coaching: watching three girls from her first team “grow in ability and love for the sport”... Career sports highlight was her selection as an alternate for the U.S. Youth National Team... Would title her autobiography, Just A Cat Lady Among Dog Lovers.
